As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, HUMAN ACCESS carried out awareness-raising activities under the umbrella of the project "Providing Livelihood Services to the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The activities included an event in Ataq, Shabwa Governorate, entitled "Forms of Gender-Based Violence and Cyber Extortion," and awareness-raising activities in Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, targeting women's groups. The goal was to educate the community about violence against women on online platforms as a serious and rapidly expanding threat.
