Under the patronage of Presidential Leadership Council member and Governor of Marib Governorate, Sheikh Sultan al-Aradah, and with support from the Human Access for Partnership and Development association, the Marib Public Health and Population Office conducted a foundational training program for health workers in the management of acute malnutrition (CMAM).

The six-day training program, which was implemented in coordination with Kara General Hospital, targeted 32 male and female trainees from health facilities in the City and Al-Wadi districts, in an effort to raise the efficiency of the health staff and enable them to deal with malnutrition cases based on scientific methods and modern standards.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Luay Mohammed Suleiman, Director General of Kara General Hospital, and Dr. Nasser Al-Saeedi, Deputy Director of the Public Health and Population Office in Marib, praised the support of HUMAN ACCESS to this important training program to develop the capabilities of health workers, which contributes to saving the lives of children under the age of five suffering from acute malnutrition.
