HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate conducted an awareness session on cyber extortion targeting 30 female high school students at a school in Mukalla. This session was part of a project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The awareness session addressed the concept of cyber extortion, its psychological and social consequences, ways to prevent it, and how to secure their social media accounts. The goal was to raise community awareness about the dangers of this form of gender-based violence and to protect women and girls from this widespread phenomenon.
