HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, distributed livelihood grants to seven women who benefited from vocational training in sewing and tailoring, and cake and pastry making. This initiative is part of the "Providing Livelihood Services to the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen" project, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The distribution took place in the presence of Ahmed Badhrous, Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the Hadhramaut Coast. The grants involved essential supplies to help the women begin practicing their trades, enabling them to enter the workforce and become productive members of society, capable of overcoming the challenges and deteriorating living conditions in the country.
