HUMAN ACCESS implemented a number of important and impactful activities at the conclusion of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign. These activities were part of the project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

In Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, a radio interview was broadcast on a local station under the slogan "Let's Unite to End Online Violence Against Women and Girls." This coincided with Human Rights Day, observed annually on December 10th. The interview addressed the importance of uniting to end the misuse of technology against women.

Additionally, livelihood kits were handed over to six women who had completed vocational training in sewing and hairdressing. The kits contained essential supplies to help the women start practicing their professions, enabling them to enter the job market and achieve financial self-sufficiency for themselves and their families.

In Marib Governorate, a training course in perfume and incense making concluded at Al-Jufaina camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs). Ten women participated in the course, which culminated in coordination with a local businesswoman to market the participants' products. Furthermore, a workshop on women's rights and digital security was conducted to raise legal awareness and address digital violations.

In Al-Wadi District, a training course in tire, concrete, incense burner, and medallion making was held for 12 women. The course was designed to develop their talents and skills in these traditional crafts, which rely on simple tools and creativity, thereby enhancing livelihoods and providing additional income for the most vulnerable families.

In Al-Rawda area, International Volunteer Day, observed annually on December 5th, was commemorated by hosting and honoring community committees. This recognition was given in appreciation of their volunteer work and to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism, which strengthens communities' resilience in the face of natural disasters and economic pressures, and contributes to accelerating progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
