HUMAN ACCESS continues its activities as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, within the framework of the project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, the sixth bazaar was inaugurated, showcasing the products of 30 women who benefited from the 2025 vocational training program. The bazaar was held under the slogan "Together to Support Women's Products and Protect Them Digitally and Economically."
The opening ceremony was attended by local government officials, community leaders, and representatives of civil society organizations, including Ms. Lubna Kalshat, Director General of Women's Development in the governorate, and Ms. Zamzam Bayaqoub, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Al-Ghaydah District.
The bazaar featured a wide range of professional and artisanal products, reflecting the skills the women had acquired through their training. Attendees praised the quality of the products and the project's role in supporting women and girls in Al-Mahra, emphasizing the importance of empowering women economically and protecting them from digital risks.
In Al-Rawda area of Marib Governorate, an event was held, with the participation of a number of women with disabilities, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on December 3 of each year. The event involved various activities, such as awareness, psychological support, presentation of gifts and symbolic amounts, as well as the presentation of dignity bags, and others.
